Automated Sample Management
With over 15 years’ automated sample management experience and having supplied systems to eight of the pharmaceutical industry’s top ten businesses, we have unrivalled knowledge and expertise. Suppliers of the world’s largest and also the world’s fastest automated and fully integrated sample management system, we recognise that times are changing and automated storage and retrieval is no longer a ‘nice to have’ but is now a standard requirement of most laboratories. To meet this demand we have developed the ‘A Range’ of automated sample stores catering from the smallest 1,000 plate requirement through the medium size product range, up to large, multi-million sample customised systems.

Biobanking Automation
A comparatively new application area, biobanks or biorepositories collect, store, process and distribute biological materials and associated data collected for basic science, biomedical and clinical research activities. RTS provides products to isolate and store the chemical components (such as DNA) produced and stored in many types of biobank.
One of the first suppliers of an automated DNA store in 2001, our ´A Range´ of sample management products is idieally suited to many biobanking applications. The world´s first automated blood fractionation system was also supplied by RTS in 2007 and this technology, used to automatically isolate buffy coat from whole blood, now exists in the form of the RTS ABF.

Pharmaceutical Testing
RTS’ Drug Delivery Automation provides products and solutions for analytical development and quality control testing applications to improve productivity, data quality and employee safety.
Our first automated inhaler testing system was installed in 1993 and since then RTS has provided proven, validated technical solutions. Our configurable product range and extensive experience ensures a reliable return on investment. Our Inhaler Testing Solutions include both automated pressurised metered dose and dry powder inhaler testing systems. Built from standard modular components, the systems are available from benchtop, through semi-automated to fully automated and suit a variety of applications including waste and test shot firing.
Our Tablet Testing Solutions focus around the RTS´ SolidPrep fast tablet dissolution and sample preparation system. SolidPrep offers radical improvements in throughput in a cost effective package for analytical testing and quality control laboratories involved in stability and impurity studies or assay and content uniformity testing.
