Process Monitoring
In-line and at-line process monitoring is a critical component to product quality. To comply with new FDA standards, it is becoming increasingly important to monitor your manufacturing processes in real-time. RTS has implemented customized inspection systems which utilize the latest non-contact, machine vision, and electrical probing technologies. Our systems have been used for QC/QA inspections and to monitor critical quality attributes and adjust processes as they are performed.
Our systems utilize reliable Keyence LV-H and LV-S series laser sensors, Cognex and DVT vision systems, and LVDT’s to measure and inspect critical features of your products in real-time. Our engineers integrate these high-tech sensor systems with parts feeding, handling, assembly, and sorting stations to create a turn-key system solution for your specific product and application. Our software is designed to be fully compliant with current 21CFR11 standards and will allow you to store and manage the inspection data acquired, and can integrate into your LIMS, SCADA, or MES system for plant wide monitoring and control.
Applications
RTS has implemented successful inspection systems for diverse applications including:
- Medical Device Assembly Verification
- Pharmaceutical and Food Process Monitoring

Capabilities
Our team of application specialists and design engineers will work with you to design an inspection system to meet your throughput and quality demands. Our application experts are also current with cGMPs and cGLPs. All of our designs are modeled in 3D software from SolidWorks®, ProEngineer®, or AutoCad Inventor® to ensure the quality of your design. A custom designed control system is developed to accompany the mechanical systems. A typical control system will integrate a system level PC, an Allen Bradley PLC, and the sensing system controller. Our software engineers can create an easy to use and intuitive Human Machine Interface (HMI) to fit your operational and data acquisition needs.
