RTS´ SolidPrep sample preparation products use novel, patented technology to deliver the fastest solution for tablet preparation.  The short process times achieved by this technology offer radical improvements in throughput when compared to traditional methods, delivering significant performance improvements to analytical testing and quality control laboratories.

 Using the RTS SolidPrep™ instrument, samples are processed in sealed disposable tubes that contain the tablets, extraction media and a quantity of specialised ceramic milling beads. The system performs a rapid agitation of the sample tubes, resulting in a combined milling and vortexing action that rapidly disintegrates the tablet and extracts the active drug products. The equipment delivers robust homogenisation that has proven to be capable of homogenising all types of formulation signifi cantly faster than alternative laboratory techniques.
